Tucker has been working out at Baltimore's training facility, and the Ravens are currently approaching the competition between him and rookie Tyler Loop "purely on football," Giana Han of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. Tucker uncharacteristically struggled last year, converting just 22 of 30 field-goal attempts over 17 regular-season games. He's also currently under investigation by the NFL due to off-field allegations. The Ravens selected Loop in the sixth round of April's draft, suggesting that Tucker's role with the team is hazy considering the league's investigation and his unsatisfactory kicking last year.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Saturday that Flowers didn't need surgery to fix the knee injury that ended his 2024 season, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. Flowers wasn't able to participate in either of Baltimore's two playoff games last season due to a right knee sprain he suffered Week 18 against Cleveland. There was some concern that the talented wideout would need to undergo surgery, but that didn't end up being the case. As such, Flowers seems to be on track to be ready for the start of the 2025 season, when he'll look to further build upon his impressive 2024 campaign during which he caught 74 passes for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns over 17 regular-season contests.
Jones may not take part in practice until training camp due to a shoulder injury, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Jones was a third-round selection by the Ravens in April's NFL Draft. The LSU product's injury doesn't appear likely to sideline him for any regular-season games, but it could delay his offseason program to some extent. If he's healthy for training camp, Jones will likely be competing for snaps at right guard.
Noteboom signed a contract with the Ravens on Saturday. Noteboom spent his first seven seasons with the Rams, starting 35 of 71 career regular-season games. He suited up for only four regular-season contests last year, however, as he dealt with an ankle injury throughout the campaign. Noteboom will likely serve as depth along the offensive line for Baltimore this season.
The Ravens won't exercise Linderbaum's fifth-year option, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. According to Hensley, Baltimore's decision to decline Linderbaum's fifth-year option is purely financial and not performance-based. If the option had been exercised, the 2022 first-round pick out of Iowa would have earned $23.4 million in 2026, which is $5.4 million more than the NFL's highest-paid center. Linderbaum has been one of the league's best offensive linemen over the past two seasons, making consecutive Pro Bowls and starting 32 regular-season games. Expect the Ravens to pursue an extension in the near future rather than letting Linderbaum walk following the 2025 season.
The Ravens exercised Hamilton's fifth-year option Wednesday. As expected, Baltimore is retaining Hamilton through the 2026 season. The 24-year-old from Notre Dame has earned back-to-back All-Pro selections, logging 188 total tackles, including 5.0 sacks, 22 passes defended, with five interceptions, and three forced fumbles over his last 32 regular-season games. Expect Hamilton to remain one of the Ravens' top defensive playmakers next season, likely starting alongside 2025 first-round pick Malaki Starks.
The Ravens signed Washington to a one-year deal Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The undrafted safety from TCU has spent the past four seasons with the Ravens, appearing in 25 regular-season contests during that time. Washington is coming off a career year in 2024, playing in all 17 of Baltimore's regular-season games and tallying 64 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and eight passes defended, with two interceptions, across 833 total snaps (677 defensive and 156 on special teams). The 25-year-old served as the Ravens' top free safety last season and is expected to compete for role again throughout the summer.
