Brown secured three of five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 40- 22 win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday. Brown saw a 32-yard reception on the Eagles' first drive wiped out by an offensive pass interference penalty against him, but the talented wideout would go on to make up for it with a 22-yard reception on third down early in the second quarter and a 12-yard touchdown grab later in the period. Brown finished second in catches and tied for second in targets with fellow wideout DeVonta Smith on the night, and after mustering just a 3-24 line during the Eagles' first two playoff games, Brown amassed a combined nine catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 13 targets during the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl.

A.J. Brown Latest News
Finds end zone in SB win

Bounces back with 96 yards, TD

Brown caught six of eight targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 55-23 win over the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game. After being held to three catches for 24 yards over the first two games of this playoff run, Brown bounced back with four catches for 61 yards and a touchdown in the first half alone. That production included a 31-yard catch on fourth down in the second quarter on a drive that culminated in the third of Philadelphia's seven rushing touchdowns, followed by a four-yard Brown touchdown catch in the final minute of the first half. Brown paced the Eagles in receiving yards to help clinch their second Super Bowl berth in three years. Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9 will either be a rematch against the Chiefs or a battle against the Bills.
Gets back to full Thursday

Brown (knee/rest/illness) was a full practice participant Thursday. Brown was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough due to knee/rest, which dates back to Week 16 prep. Despite getting back to full one day later, he also was listed with an illness. In two playoff games to date, Brown has earned at least a 90 percent snap share both times but compiled a measly 3-24-0 line on 10 targets. He'll look to be more involved on offense Sunday against a Commanders defense that he put up a combined 13 catches (on 23 targets) for 162 yards and one touchdown in two regular-season matchups.
Listed as limited in walk-through

Brown (knee/rest) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate. Brown continues to manage a knee issue, but the wideout has been available for both of the Eagles' playoff contests and we don't expect that to change in Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Commanders. Barring any setbacks, look for the wideout to practice fully by Friday and head into the weekend without an injury designation.
Just two catches in Sunday's win

Brown caught two of seven targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 28-22 divisional-round win over the Rams. The Eagles' passing game has been completely de-emphasized during their playoff run, and Brown's production has taken the biggest hit. The star wideout has only a 3-24-0 line on 10 targets through two games -- a lower yardage total than he delivered in any single game during the regular season. Unless the Commanders find some way to bottle up Saquon Barkley next Sunday in the NFC Championship Game, Brown may have trouble making an impact again.
Clear for Sunday's contest

Brown (knee/rest) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's divisional-round game against the Rams. As has been the norm for Brown since Week 16 prep, Brown endured some practice restrictions this week due to knee/rest, sitting out Wednesday before returning as a limited participant one day later. With a full session under his belt Friday, he again is good to go versus a Los Angeles defense that has allowed 7.97 YPT (13th in the NFL) and 20 receiving touchdowns (tied for fourth most) to opposing wide receivers in 18 contests between the regular season and playoffs.
Officially limited Thursday

Brown (knee/rest) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday. As he predicted, Brown followed up Wednesday's absence from practice with a cap on his reps one day later as he continues to deal with a knee injury that has lingered since preparations for Week 16. He's played in three of four games in the meantime -- in the fourth, Week 18 against the Giants, most Eagles starters sat out -- and he's handled greater than a 90 percent snap share all three times. Ultimately, Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Brown enters the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's divisional-round contest against the Rams.
Back at practice Thursday

Brown (knee/rest) returned to practice Thursday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Brown officially was a non-participant at Wednesday's session, after which he told Zangaro that he planned to mix into drills Thursday. While this has manifested itself, Brown's activity level won't be known until the Eagles post their second injury report of the week. Brown has been tending to a knee injury since Week 16 prep but otherwise has played through it, aside from sitting out Week 18 along with a number of starters.
Doesn't practice Wednesday

Brown (knee/rest) didn't practice Wednesday. Brown continues to manage a knee issue, with the wideout indicating that his non-participation Wednesday is part of that plan and that he's slated to practice Thursday, per Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia. Assuming no setbacks, look for Brown to practice fully by Friday and approach Sunday's divisional-round game against the Rams without an injury designation.
